State Superintendent Wm N Sheats uses legislative funds and Peabody aid to start twelve Teachers Summer Training Schools eight weeks long beginning July 2. In West Florida locations Milton for whites with Principal B Graham and Assistant W S Cawthon. Marianna for blacks with Principal H W Demitty and Assistant E W Barrington. Board in private homes at $10 monthly.
A historical advertisement touts Chamberlains Colic Cholera and Diarrhea Remedy as the best cure for stomach pain dysentery and cholera infantum. It claims universal efficacy across severe cases and epidemic dysentery and notes 25 and 40 cent sizes sold by R B Bellamy and J R Farrior.
