Lunatic Gains Liberty Fires Upon Keepers at Milledgeville Asylum
B H Osborne, a Fulton county patient, escaped his guards at the Georgia State Lunatic Asylum in Milledgeville during a Monday night dance. He fired at Superintendent Dr. T. C. Powell at close range and fled. Powell was unharmed, and Osborne vanished but is being tracked as officials investigate how the pistol was obtained and the escape was achieved.
