Marshal to supply labor and plow. Baxley to obtain 500 stakes for grave lots. Marshal September report 825.45, aid approved. Assessors books received. Horne and Baxley to inspect and correct. All drays in Chipley licensed at 8 per year. Meeting adjourned.

Graveyard Improvements and 1808 City Elections Ordered
The council authorized graveyard grounds work including plowing and clearing streets and alleys around the old graveyard. It approved open ground work, moved fences, and ordered marshal reports paid. An election on the first Tuesday in January 1808 will appoint a Mayor, Marshal, Clerk and two Councilmen with registration books opened by Dr. Bellamy. Pro tem officers adjourned.
