Mrs. S. A. Jones, mother of Hon. D. J. Jones and sister of Uncle Dan Buie, died at her home Tuesday morning at 3:30 after a lingering illness. She was over eighty. Her remains were taken to Campbellton for burial in the old family graveyard. The Banner offers sympathy to Mr. Jones and Mr. Bure in this sad hour. A cotton hold at 13 cents is urged by Senators Williams and Owens and Congressman Burleson, with bankers asked to support higher prices.
