Freight Collides with Passenger Train at Broomfield Station
A 51 car freight train struck a passenger train head on at the Broomfield Colorado station near Denver. Two crewmen on the passenger train died engineer S W Johnson and fireman P J Loughry both of Denver. Fred M Tingle the freight engineer is in critical condition. Seventeen others 15 passengers were injured. A crane was on the way to remove wreckage and bodies awaiting removal.

King in serious condition after stiletto attack

Shoplifter Arrested After Grocery Theft
Lovie O Nea l a Lockney woman was arrested shortly after 11 a m yesterday for stealing bolts of material valued at about 18 95 from Coats Grocery and Market.
