Three armed young men hijacked a Trans World Airlines 727 at Albuquerque airport using a tow truck ruse. They bound a fuel handler and forced the plane to wait for a moved fuel truck. Suspects were identified as Michael Finney Ralph Goodwin and Charlie Hill.

Services For Mrs Birchfield Held Saturday
Funeral services for Mrs. J H Birchfield 93 of Wellington were held at the First United Methodist Church with Rev. R T Dyess officiating. Interment followed at Fairview Cemetery.
