Pleads Guilty To DWI in County Court
Tirzo Aquire Jr pleaded guilty to driving while intoxicated in county court. He was fined 125 dollars plus court costs, sentenced to three days in jail, and received a six month automatic driver’s license suspension. Aquire was arrested earlier Saturday by the Highway Patrol.

Earl Cason Dies. Burial Planned in Childress
Earl Cason, about 67, former Childress resident, died at his Crystal City home Saturday morning after heart trouble. Funeral services will be Tuesday at 10 am at Newberry's Funeral Chapel with Rev. Lester Hill officiating. Burial will be in Childress Cemetery. Survivors include his daughter Mrs Linda Pierce and a grandson, both of Austin.
