Weather Clear and Mild Across Texas with Panhandle Rain
Virtually all of Texas enjoyed clear mild conditions on Saturday except the Panhandle where light rain fell. The Weather Bureau warned the disturbance would deepen over West Texas with showers in Northwest Texas through Sunday and bring cooler highs to the northern half. Noon temperatures ranged from 42 degrees at Dalhart to the 70s in the Lower Rio Grande Valley.
