FBI To Test Mormon Will In Hughes Case
The FBI has been asked to test the so called Mormon will linked to Howard Hughes to see if fingerprints from Alaska contractor Levane Forsythe can be found on the document or its envelope. Forsythe claims he delivered the will to Melvin Dummar in Utah after Hughes death and that his own prints should appear on the envelope and possibly the will.

Funeral services for 82 year old Franklin Eugene Woods a Childress County native will be at 2 p m Monday at Calvary Baptist Church with burial in Childress Cemetery. He died at 1 15 a m today at Childress General Hospital. He was born February 1 1895 and was a retired farmer. Survivors include his wife Ozie three sons J L of Sunray Clarence of Dumas and Dale of Chowchilla Ca 17 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. Childress County work is included in the 1977 Highway Safety and Betterment Farm to Market Road Improvement Program approved by State Highway District Engineer Lewis H. White. Seal coat on several highways is planned including 21.9 miles of U S Highway from U S 287 in Childress to the Collingsworth County line. Farm to Market 164 will receive seal coat for 2.4 miles from U S 287 south and east, and F M 3031 from Childress city limits south 3.0 miles. Statewide, about 4 665 miles of highways are set for improvement.
