U.S. Forces Rescue Run From Besieged Ben Het Camp
A relief force of about 500 South Vietnamese troops set out from the besieged Ben Het camp to reach Dak To eight miles east and open a supply route through Communist held mountains. The siege has continued 47 days with daily shelling and ground attacks repelled. U.S. B52s bombed surrounding peaks as relief efforts press the route past mines and booby traps while mercenaries defend the camp with paid irregulars. 34 North Vietnamese were reported killed in today's fighting, with no U.S. casualties.

Death of Russell Nabors Sets Funeral Arrangements
Russell L. Nabors 20 son of Dr. and Mrs. John M. Nabors of Wichita Falls formerly of Childress died from gunshot wounds. His body was found in the family home at 4503 Nas sau around 6 30 p m Sunday. He attended Texas Christian University and belonged to Sigma Alpha Epsilon and First Presbyterian Church. Surviving are his parents and grandparents. a brother died about seven months earlier. Funeral arrangements with Hampton Vaughan Funeral Home in Wichita Falls were incomplete at presstime.

Local FAA station reports 107 degrees Saturday near Chil dress as the hottest day of the year so far. Two Fined For Swindling By Worthless Check
Two separate counts of swindling by worthless check were tried in County Court with guilty verdicts. Mrs. Thomas Todd of Borger pled guilty, sentenced to one day in jail, fines and costs totaled 62 dollars. Sammy J. Whatley of Pampa pled nolo contendere, fined and taxed 67 dollars plus one day in jail.
