Billie Sol Estes Testimony May Reveal New Leads in Death Case
Billie Sol Estes testified before a Texas grand jury for two sessions regarding the death of federal agriculture official Henry H. Marshall Estes. He invoked the Fifth Amendment multiple times but aided the investigation, with prosecutors noting new angles while plans to call a few more witnesses next Monday. The Marshall case, reopened in week four, weighs murder versus suicide after autopsy findings showing multiple gunshot wounds and carbon monoxide exposure.
