Johnson 70 of Chickasha Oklahoma died at 6 30 am Thursday after a lengthy illness Funeral services will be at 2 pm Saturday in Newberry Chapel with Rev Joe S Allen pastor of First Baptist Church conducting burial in Childress Cemetery under Newberrys Pallbearers will be veterans from local organizations He was born January 16 1899 in Childress lived in Minnesota before moving to Chickasha in 1907 He was a farmer and welder and a World War I veteran He was a member of the American Legion Cox Furr Post 65 and Chickasha Barracks Surviving are two brothers seven sisters and many relatives in several states

Last rites are set for 87 year old Dave C Brewster in Paducah First United Methodist Church at 10 a.m. Saturday. Brewster died Thursday in a Paducah hospital after a lengthy illness. Survivors include wife Flora four daughters Mrs Jessie Garrison Mrs Ara Vee Martin and two others, a son Alma, a foster son Aaron Raymond Jr, a sister and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was born June 13 1881 in Navarro County Texas and lived in Cattle County 52 years. he was a retired farmer.
