Quick Elegant Can Opener Menu From Mary Troy
A four person menu and recipes by Mary Troy, home economics consultant for Jones & Laughlin, include clear mushroom soup, chicken with peach glaze, spiced peaches, parsley potatoes, macedoine salad, breads, crisp crackers, and peanut chocolate balls. The guide covers prep: freeze peanut balls, form vanilla and chocolate ice cream units, coat with peanuts, and pour chocolate syrup. It also describes a corn carrot salad with French dressing, and a beef consommé soup with mushroom pieces, mayo egg white foam, and herb glaze for the chicken. Serve plated with peach halves and buttered potatoes around the meat.
