George Robertson Dies Here Tuesday
George Spaulding Robertson 70 prominent Childress civic worker died suddenly of a heart attack at home Tuesday evening believed about 5 50. He retired as superintendent of motive power for the Fort Worth and Denver and will be buried at Childress cemetery after services at First Methodist Church conducted by Dr J O Haymes. He helped found the Childress Federal Savings and Loan and served seven years on the City Council. Survivors include his wife and two sisters in Scotland and England.
