In Cleveland Texas on a Friday dawn a group including Mrs Edison and Cleveland Bass armed with shotguns fought two burglars at Filler's general store Urbana. One burglar was wounded and they pursued the other as sheriff deputies and a blood hound posse hunted Ellis in the Sam Houston national forest. Bobby Charles Williams 21 was identified as wounded.
