Charges were filed in the County Attorney's office by Liquor Control James Hix against three persons for sale of alcoholic beverages. Pleading not guilty were Louis Jones, a local Negro woman, and Elbert Bailey. bond set in both cases. James Robinson, a local Negro man, was not yet apprehended. The violations occurred around February 18. Bailey and Jones posted $1,000 bond each this morning per Deputy Sheriff Hollis Wilson.
