A Shrine Club is organized in Childress to sponsor a DeMolay chapter with W. W. Kinney as president, A. A. Bass as vice president, and Jim Martindale as secretary treasurer. Fourteen boys have joined DeMolay. twenty five more are needed for a charter. Members are aged 14 to 21. The Panhandle Plains Automobile Club, renamed from Panhandle Automobile Club after expanding to South Plains counties, held its annual meeting in Amarillo yesterday afternoon.
