Tank Truck Crashes Into Mail Truck Near Hondo
A tank truck loaded with gasoline rear ended a parked mail truck on U S 90 west of Hondo Texas. The tank vehicle cab burned killing driver W N Couch 45 of San Antonio. Firefighters contained the blaze before gasoline danger. Investigators found no reason for the crash.

Former Tell Native Jewell Garrison King Dies in Oklahoma
Funeral services for Mrs Jewell King of Putman Oklahoma were held at 2 p m Friday at the First Methodist Church in Clinton Oklahoma. Interment followed in Clinton. She died after a several month illness from a stroke. Born Jewell Garrison she left Tell in 1911 after marrying Ben King. Surviving children include William of Putman Barney of Hydro and Lewis of Castro Valley California. Sisters and brothers include Mrs Flannie Neeley Ned and Lonnie Garrison of Childress. Mrs Ned Garrison Mrs Lonnie Garrison Mrs Neeley Charlene Neeley and J A Orr attended the services Friday.
