Brown Is Fined In County Court
Brown Winston Dale Brown age 19 pled guilty to driving while intoxicated in County Court this morning. He was fined 125 dollars plus court costs and sentenced to three days in jail with auto suspension of his license for six months. Brown was arrested near midnight last night in Child ress by Liquor Control Agent James E. Hicks and City Patrolman Jerry Ingram.

In Childress County, motor vehicle inspections have slowed with only 629 vehicles checked in January. Since September 1, total inspections reach 1,523, about 30 percent of 5,089 registered vehicles. Quanah Police Arrest Two For Childress
Two Lubbock men with prior burglaries were jailed in Quanah after being picked up at the request of Childress Police. Robert Lee Davis, 31, faced a Lubbock trial today on liquor transport charges. Chester Wayne Morgan, 29, accompanied him. The pair stopped at Quality Service Station for gas, tried to break into a machine for money, failed, then left as police were alerted. Charges to be filed.

Elderly Man Found After Exposure Incident
N L Harris 83 was found wandering from his home at 507 A M and taken to Childress General Hospital around 6 a m. He had fallen between Avenues A and B in the 600 block and was treated for exposure. His condition was not believed serious.
