Negro Injured in Highway Crash Near Memphis
William Robert Bronson a Negro man temporarily living in Memphis was hospitalized after a crash on the Childress Hall County line about 6 30 last night. He suffered four broken ribs and other injuries when the car hit a bridge rail and plunged into a small creek. The car was a total loss and Bronson was fined 50 dollars plus costs in Memphis Justice Court for driving on the wrong side of the road.

Two disc jockeys Bill Stanley and Bill Elliott admitted to a 58 hour radio marathon playing Shuggy Boom on WNOE.
