After a Saturday arrest by the sheriff's department two men face liquor law charges. Charlie A. Winborne, driver, and J. W. Dillar, passenger, were stopped north of Childress where whiskey was found. Winborne charged with DWI and transporting liquor in a dry area. he pled not guilty with bonds set at $1,000 each. Dillard pled guilty in Justice Court to being drunk and paid a $100 fine.
