New York United Press International reports Mr. and Mrs. Alger Hiss separated several weeks ago after 29 years of marriage. Priscilla Hiss stood by him during trials and imprisonment for perjury, while friends say Alger moved from Greenwich Village. They have son Anthony, 17, a Vermont prep student. Hiss was released in 1954 after four years eight months of a five year sentence.
