Three Injured In Collision Near Paducah Saturday
Three Childress residents were hospitalized after a two car crash about 12:15 a m Saturday ten miles north of Paducah on Highway 83. Long Given 99 Years for Murder in Texas
William Long, 28, formerly of Warwick New York, was convicted of murder and sentenced to 99 years in the 24th District Court for the killings of Mr and Mrs A B Lippman of Somerset Texas. His 20 year old girlfriend Sandra Kay Powell faced separate trial after a severance. Powell was arrested with Long in Brownsville Tennessee the day after the double shooting.
