The Greenbelt Municipal and Industrial Water Authority postponed the confirmation election to organize a water district for six months. Court Martial Refuses Move To Dismiss First Charge
Fort Sill Oklahoma February 11 A court martial trying Maj Ambrose Nugent on charges of collaborating with the Communists while a prisoner in Korea refused to throw out the first of 13 charges against him Defense counsel asked the first charge alleging Nugent told an enemy officer that he could help under duress and coercion. The judge began to dismiss the charge but the president of the court interrupted. Continued on Page 3.

Shake Up in Red Supreme Court Reported Friday
Moscow radio announced that six members of the Soviet Union Supreme Court were removed by decree signed February 7 by Marshal Klementi Voroshilov. US Abandonment of Tachen Islands Announced
The US Navy said the Tachen islands would be abandoned by 3 a.m. Saturday local time as the Nationalist air force readies bombing. Rear Adm. Alonzo Sabin Jr. said all troops and equipment would depart and demolitions finish by then despite 65 mph winds and heavy seas. He noted Chinese forces avoided interference and dismissed them as not stupid in the context of the operation.
