Galveston February 10 The nation’s top airman General Nathan Twining predicted the next five years would bring new planes and weapons boosting air power as much as the previous five. He spoke at the Galveston Chamber of Commerce dinner and awarded a Silver Star to Lt Walter L Johnston for heroic helicopter rescue in Korea on September 28 1952. Cotton Allotment Plans Being Made
PMA administrator Gene Frisbie said 1954 cotton allotments may rise and farmers will be notified quickly of the proposed basis for increased allotments. Bombers Complete 8700-Mmile Jet Stream Flight To Maine
Two RB-36 bombers based at Travis AFB land at Limestone, Maine after an 8700 mile nonstop flight from Tokyo in under 29 hours. Brig. Gen. Stanley J.
