FBI agents arrest 30 year old Ileen Lowe in Muleshoe Texas after a 10 day old infant John Paul Norris was abducted last Friday from Albuquerque by a gun wielding woman. The baby was found safe and in good shape at a Muleshoe hospital with a small toe blister noted. Authorities say no ransom was demanded and Lowe offered no statements.

Crawford Rites Are Held In Memphis
Funeral services for Rev Luther J. Crawford 94 longtime Panhandle area pastor were held at the Memphis First Baptist Church. He died Friday and is survived by a wife three sons Noble Jack Warren and other relatives including daughters stepchildren grandchildren and great grandchildren. Final Rites for Mrs. Copeland in Gunter
Funeral services were held for Mrs. George W. Lou Copeland 94 at the College Hill Church of Christ in Gunter with burial in Gunter Cemetery. She died Sunday at Hilltop Haven after residing there five years. Born January 22 1882 in Houston Missouri she moved to Childress County in 1907 and married George W. Copeland in 1908. Survivors include four daughters two sisters and numerous grandchildren.
