Five Businesses Destroyed By Large Royse City Fire
A $175000 blaze razed five shops in Royse City's business district including the Cookston Hotel where eight guests were evacuated. The fire also wiped out David Manufacturing Co Wood Hardware Taylors tailor shop and Cookston Cafe. Pastor Carroll Cole broke his ankle tackling the flames and was taken to a Dallas hospital.

Jr., and two daughters.
