At least two suspects broke into Smith Motor Company and Paul Pierce Shoe Store here. Clothing from the Pierce burglary was recovered. Officials Fail In Search For Hidden Assets
Four state officials conducted a one hour search of the home of A B Shoemake president of the insolvent US Trust and Guaranty Company in Waco seeking hidden assets for the receivership.
