Childress Bobcats Face Fan Support Scrutiny From Coach
Kenneth West, Childress High School basketball coach, criticizes town fans for lacking support across sports as the Bobcats, 3-9 this season, struggle to rebound after a delayed start from football playoffs. He cites poor turnout at a three day JV tournament and notes Wichita Falls and Midwestern events show better basketball enthusiasm. The team prepares for a rematch with Vernon after a 59 43 loss to Vernon earlier.
