Local Teams In Finals Of Tourneys Saturday
Four Childress basketball teams advanced to Saturday finals after two Friday tournaments. The Bobcat varsity beat Burkburnett 53 43 to reach the title game, while Washington Leopards and White Falls Coyotes earned semifinal spots. Coach West shuffled seven players, and top scorers included Havins 12 and Buck 11 for Childress, and Kinnard 19 for Burkburnett.
