Jan began art at age 10 or 11 with still lifes and sketches, studying with Mrs. Darla Fowler and Mrs. Royce Denton. She later taught herself charcoal, pastels, oils and watercolors, aided by art publications. Her work, including her mother Mrs. Ted Hudson’s pieces, has been on display at The Accent House this past week with a coffee reception.
