Arthur B. Thurman former Childress resident died at a Dallas brother’s home about 6:30 pm aged 58. Funeral at Assembly of God Church here at 2 pm Wednesday with minister Ross Davis. Burial in Childress Cemetery under Newberry Funeral home. Born February 12 1898 in Clay County Tennessee he lived with L E Thurman here from 1982 then moved to Dallas. Survived by brothers E Thurman Dallas W J Thurman Bakersfield F V Thurman Cenyon Botenue man and half brother W J Thurman Wellington and Mrs Jim Ewing Crowell.
