Morris Dworkin of Cleveland who ran a produce house for 18 years summoned his creditors to a meeting and offered 25 cents on the dollar. Creditors rejected the offer and proposed 25 percent cash and 25 percent secured notes. Liabilities about 26000 with assets near 5000. Stockton Onion Crop Down In Size This Year
San Francisco reporting that the Stockton district onion crop is smaller due to dry weather with many brown onions undersized while yellows and whites are larger.
