Wine Grape Market Higher in Panate Chicago
Washingtons recent decision that grape juice with a little bit of play in it could not be made did not have much effect upon the wine grape market as it has ruled strong and higher since it was handed down. There has been a great deal of activity here on rolling cars with both the local trade and buyers in the territory East of here taking offerings as fast as submitted. The demand for future shipments has been only fair as the call seems to have for something as nearby as possible. Zinfandels have been sold principally on a basis of $100 per ton f o b shipping point, Matros $105 110, Alicantes $1385 140, Missions $110, unlidded Muscats $60 65 and added Muscats $65 70.
