Los Angeles November 28. The government won its case against Rehwald Brothers in Federal District Court for violating the Produce Agency Act. They failed to pay net proceeds of four cars of cantaloupes received in July 1927 from Yuma Valley Packing and Marketing Corp. The brothers were sentenced to six months in county jail, suspended pending full payment of $593.67, with one year probation. The ruling upholds that failure to pay, even with an acceptable account sales, violates the act.
