Arrivals of California asparagus were light two to four cars daily this week as the season nears end. California stock remained strong with top specimens at 11 dollars, next sizes at 9 to 10, and small to medium around 4.50. Late in the week prices slid about 1 dollar. Jersey grass entered in fair amounts at 7 to 9 for large, 4 for next sizes. Georgia and South Carolina stock sold best at 5 to 7, poorer grades 2.50 to 3.50.
