The Court of Appeals affirmed Theodore Hendricks's conviction and a one to three year sentence for issuing checks with insufficient funds. Hendricks, secretary and treasurer of Dixie Queen Markets and Union City, was accused of over $1,900 in such checks to Cincinnati firms, including a $499.25 check last June when only $11.21 was available. Harvey Hendricks, his brother, was indicted for a false statement about the company’s finances. his case remains pending after bond release.

A C Free Dies After Ap pendicitis Operation in Pittsburgh
Pittsburgh May 8 The trade was shocked to learn of the death of A C Free who died at 3 am Wednesday in a local hospital following an appendicitis operation at the end of last week.
