Trade at Minneapolis Amid Cold Weather Welfare
Snow and cold disrupted perishables trade in Minneapolis this week as storage eggs show a healthy supply with about 16 000 cases in eight weeks and 400 cases daily demand. Butter declines countered by east weather, poultry demand rises while cabbage onions firm, and a general expectation of steadiness with potential brief price bumps. Local inventories improve with many merchants reporting better than anticipated year end results and plans for conventions in Denver and Norfolk.

Ozark Fruit Growers Meet Repeats 1909 Plan Amid Laborious Checks
At Monett Missouri the Ozark Fruit Growers Association held its annual session with most 1909 officers reelected and twenty three of twenty four local groups continuing marketing through the Ozark association in 1910. The meeting covered routine business including a dispute over 2 percent rebates on gross sales and proposals to cut costs by reducing central control. Directors were elected and the group discussed cantaloupe and peach marketing, a proposed local inspector school, and planned fresh handling rules. Fifty to sixty growers attended representing about 1,008 shares of 2,000.
