John Denney Dies at Winter Park Pioneer Produce Leader
John Denney of Central Marketing Company died suddenly Monday in Winter Park Florida. Born in New York, he helped found Denney & Co and later ran the Central Marketing Company. A pioneer in lettuce shipping and Idaho apple trade, he was 65. Funeral services were held at St Philip Nerf Church with interment at Sepulchre cemetery.
