Study on Potato Distribution by Michigan Agricultural College
East Lansing, Mich. December 16. The Itarna management department of Michigan Agricultural College studied potato distribution methods using 1226 farmers across the state. H. B. Killough led the investigation exploring when to sell to maximize price and reduce waste. Farmers cite selling in fall, winter, or spring for different price advantages, with risks of market gluts or shortages if timing is not uniform.
