Moorhead Minn August 27 Harvesting of potatoes will start earlier than usual with digging expected to begin on Ohios and Cobblers around September 10 to 15 Triumphs and Warbas are being harvested in a small way. Prospects are for the finest quality crop in ten years. Most stock has reached size and good maturing weather is needed to finish. A light frost would be welcome. Acreage reduced but yield expected to offset and produce a larger crop than several years past. Weather has been ideal with ample moisture and no 100 degree days so far. Digging should begin full swing by September 15.

Potato Trade Returns to Wood Street Terminal
