Florida growers protest citrus freight rates
Washington Aug 25 The Florida Growers' and Shippers' League filed a complaint with the Interstate Commerce Commission against the rates of 21 southern and southeastern railroads on shipments of citrus fruits and pineapples from Jacksonville to northern points. The complaint says the rates yield an abnormal revenue for the character of traffic.
