New Regulations On Apples Heading to United Kingdom
New regulations from the British government require all United States apples to be marked with clear origin and packing details. Packaged fruit must display either Produce of the U S A or the packer shipper name and address with U S A, in letters at least half an inch high. Effective November 13, this rule will be strictly enforced and noncompliant fruit may be fined.
