Wenatchee Wash August 7 First sales of combination grade Winter Bananas 160 size and larger were reported this week by the marketing committee at 1.35 a car, about 50 cents higher than last year. For later sales a price of 1.25 has been agreed upon between the growers committee and a committee representing most leading shipping firms.
