Kansas City April 22 Broilers sold on change Tuesday at 40 cents a pound, a higher price than usual for this market. Supply been light, but such a high price is not likely to remain long. The market for hens has been steady this week with fair offerings. Small lots sell at 16 cents. Demand for other chickens is fair, but ducks geese and turkeys are neglected.
