Tax commission proposed to replace state board of equalization
A report urges abolition of the present state board of equalization and the creation of a three member state tax commission appointed by the governor. The bill drafts powers for tax forms, local assessor guidance, information demands, enforcement actions, appeals hearings, reassessment, and intergovernmental tax law studies.
