They pursued about 150 miles through rough barren country enduring eight days with only alkali water and two days without any water. Chihuahua Mexico February 22 The Indians are on the war path two hundred attacked a settlement near Carrollas killing several women and children and looting the place.
In Indianapolis on February 22 the Indiana House defeated the bill granting women the right to vote for presidential electors with a 46 to 43 vote.
