Reports indicate large Boer forces moving south of Newcastle toward reinforcements, and 100 seamen are to sail from Sheerness to Transvaal to form a naval brigade.
A Sioux City dispatch notes the last Illinois Central snow plow broke on Sunday. In Sioux Falls an indignation meeting of 200 delayed passengers debated seizing the train to reopen the road to the city but the plan was dropped when the engine was disabled. They report limited fuel and no whisky.
