Ex-convict nabbed in Denver over hotel valise theft
George Milsap, an ex Colorado convict, was arrested by Officer Bean after a valise and clothing were stolen from the Metropolitan Hotel on July 30. Police traced the goods to his northeast city residence, found in his wife Rosa's trunk, allegedly brought by Milsap for safekeeping. He faces trial today.

From Laramie Aug 27 the two scouts Robert Widdowfield and Tip Vincent were found dead in Rattlesnake Cafion Elk mountains after being sent to trail suspected train robbers. Bodies were riddled with bullets and believed slain Monday the 19th when firing was heard by surveyors D R Cray.

City Council Considers Gas Franchise In Cheyenne
The Cheyenne City Council held a special session to review a ten year exclusive gas works franchise for A H Chevalier and associates.
