The American Farm Bureau Federation warns that a worsening agricultural crisis threatens the nation’s economy and social order. It calls for immediate aid to farmers, improved transportation and financing, and wage adjustments, plus immigration encouragement to stabilize farm viability.
Governor Cox's special train to Prescott from Phoenix crashed one mile north of Peoria due to a broken rail. All in the governor's party escaped unharmed though shaken. One engine man injured and several others with minor injuries. The party returned to Phoenix and itinerary rerouting was announced.
The Northwestern Tuberculosis conference endorses Wyoming as a federal recuperation hospital site. The six western states including Oregon and Washington back the plan plus public health legislation to provide adequate services. Attendees thank Dr. Hatfield Dr. Boswell and others for their work with the Wyoming Public Health Association and Princess Theater support.
After a highly successful three days, the Northwestern TB health conference closed in Cheyenne. Salt Lake City was unanimously chosen as the site for next year’s conference, with attendance continuing on page three.

Petitions gathered 186 signatures, 85 over the legal requirement, naming Mrs Theresa A Jenkins of Baren and F S Delo and J Sawyer of Laramie as candidates. Jenkins is a doneine, Delo a minister, and Sawyer a dentist. The party joins the jean, democratic, socialist labor, and farmer-labor lines on the ballot.

Remains will be moved to W W Dumm Mortuary for shipment to New York City on Union Pacific train No 6 Friday morning.
